Why do people ask stupid questions on Yahoo! answers? Do you think that the people who came up with this yahoo! answers are dissapointed because it's not how they thought it would be like?

thats a good question. i was just thinking about that today too. i wonder what the creator of yahoo answers planned for it to be like? alot of people use it to meet other people. some actually use it for homework or to learn about stuff. most of the questions in the music section are asking for names, singers, or lyrics to a song. and then there's the people that use it to ask "how hot am i????". but all in all, i think (if you avoid the completely rediculous ones) answering these questions is pretty fun.

There really are no stupid questions. Stop and think about this for a moment. Everyone using this site has a different level of education. Everyone has a different need which they are fulfilling. So, if someone is more serious than someone else then they'll become somewhat frustrated by what they see as a stupid and irrelevant question. If someone is just passing the time and wants to feel like they're having fun then they'll just do and say whatever is in their heads at the time. People use this site for various reasons, and that's true for both questioners and answerers.
Just don't sweat the small stuff. Have fun. If you're serious about this site then just skip over the riff raff and scan the site for exactly what you're looking to find.

It doesn't matter if the questions are stupid Lady.Someone will hit it for the points if they don't answer an inquiry...
So just have a laugh...LOL:)
And there are however.Some very serious inquiries that people make when they cannot find,Or they need help...
Lets not forget that aspect of this site...
And i hope they find what they need when they do post an inquiry for some assistance...

I dont know. I know thats sort of dumb. I very much agree and I get mad when sometimes they put " I dont know" haha Like I just did but seriously it is just a waste of time to read. I think that if I were to look at if from the creators point of view I would be happy because at least some people are getting alot out of it. I have only been on a very short amount of time and it has really helped alot.

Well, not all people are quite alike. Some like to take things seriously and some like to have fun. So, if the people behind Yahoo! Answers planned this well, I am sure they already know what to expect. :)

I don know... But what's interesting to me about yahoo answer is diverse questions and answers. Some are really freaky, some are funny and some are horrible. As they mix, it make me cry, laugh and wanna play it more...
I sometimes ask stupid question due to my feeling...

I dont even know we all should ask questions that is worth typing people online need to get a life. I beleive we all should ask seroius questions that all of us can benefit

Maybe they don't think their question is stupid until it gets criticized by someone. I think whoever came up with this site is thrilled that it's become so popular.

Some people are just bored and don't know what else to do. I guess the people that made it up were just wanting people to have fun.
