No. They were the favorites to win the World Cup this year and they didn't live up to their hype at all. They weren't uncooridinated alot and Ronaldo & Ronaldinho were ball hogs. There are egos on that team and when there are too many of those on one field a team can't work properly together. Brazil played fairly and you saw the regular little tricks from certain players in terms of foot work but the passion for the game and the spirit was not there. They did bad. I told everyone Brazil was not going to win, I was cheering for Portugal and even though they didn't win they came in 4th out of the entire thing. They played really great this Cup, especially Cristiano, Deco, Maniche, Figo and Miguel and the wonderful goaly Ricardo. Without Ricardo Portugal wouldn't have made it that far.

Since Brazil was not the 2006 World Cup Champion, I would say they were not playing good.

and thought the world cup would be anything but simple for them to
lift it for the sixth time around.

i am a huge brazilian fan and in the 2006 brazil didnt play really good they were not passing the ball, they just seemd lazy and france got lucky that they won against brazil. ronaldo was really bad in the world cup so was cafu, kaka, robinho and all of the brazilian players

Yeah, like they always do they didn't pass however but, yeah, they played like a team, like Ronaldinho, he was really passing the ball out to his teammates. Fairplay. Point and simple.

yeah they did! it's just they did not play as well as people expected them to. people just never knew how to appreciate them.
