Anything can work if you're willing to make it work. I'm pretty into the horoscope stuff because I'm a stereotypical Sagittarius and my boyfriend is a very stereotypical Scorpio (which also don't normally match up), but we've been together almost 2.5 years and are already talking about getting married when I finish college in '08.
My sister is a Capricorn and we get along pretty well. We butt heads sometimes about stuff, but if you're willing to put the effort into it, any relationship can work. Whether the stars and other "forces" really play a part or not, I have no idea, but they can't stop love!
Good luck with everything! The horoscope things don't always play out for everyone. I happen to be a perfect Sag, but I know many people that don't fit their sign at all no matter how you look at it. Get a horoscope/zodiac book or pull a site up on the net. See if you guys really fit the "accepted descriptions" just so you'll know what to be prepared for (assuming that stars and planets and destiny really do play a role). Like with my Scorpio boyfriend, I know he can be very jealous and protective, so I know to tell him everything, even if I don't think it's important. I also know that I can rely on him for anything at all because Scorpios are extremely supportive and love their partners very much. So just check it out. It's always fun sometimes and you begin to realize things you never really knew about yourself!
