Can you look at a question I asked earlier and explain to me the difference between what I said in it and the talking point "you can not support the troops if you don't support president".
Not sure if I see much of one, they both seem just as stupid..
here's the link..

LoveItorLeaveIt- I am doing something. I'm pointing out the hypocrisy of stupid people like yourself. The fact is that most of the soldiers want the support of all American's. They don't give a flying **** if you support the president or not. So people like you need to get off your flippin high horse and quit accusing people of not supporting the troops based on their opinion of the president. There's plenty of Liberals in the military that have fought in Iraq that don't support the president either. To accuse those soldiers of not supporting themselves is just ignorant.

How about You shut up and do something about it. How about You stop b*tching. How about You move to another Country. How about You get out of Dodge. Say goodbye, Wave, and leave. And Most of All.....Sh*t, or get off the Pot, Dude.
HEY DUMBA**, You have just made a very Big ASSumption, which proves that Something can be made out of Anything. I didn't say a damn thing You said that I implied. So Again, Why don't You shut the f*ck up, and Cry your a**ss right out of here.
Do us a favor, prick. Do Yourself the favor.
What an idiot.
Where did You interpret that I didn't support the Troops?
Get it, Love It OR Leave It. Choose One, You can't have both.
You make me sick. Like You even know a Soldier, not with that Opinion, If You knew even One Person sacrificing Their Safety for Our Country, Your opinion would be way different.
Yeah your doing something, whining, bitching, complaining. Bravo, very difficult accomplishments. Hey buddy, I have as much room as you do. Balls in your court.
There is NO Fricking way YOU are a Solider, you lying ba*stard. You are an insult to ALL SOLDIERS. I happen to know several, too many, and They all Support the War, and The President. They volunteered to be in Our Military. And They Believe in what They are Fighting for.
I am the most retarded Person, oooohhhh wwwaaahhhhh, Just because I don't agree with You? I have the same right as You do Freedom of Speech.
AND P.S. YOU Are An Insult to America, and a ******** Coward.
But Thank you for calling attention to My answer, that will almost assure that People read it.
You think , (Your words), on the previous question, that you linked to, that anyone who hasn't served in Iraq is an unpatriotic traitor???? And You call me retarded. I bow to the Queen of all mentally choosen retards.

hmm...i'm a bit confused on one point you stand on, but i will tell you mine:
i am a republican, i support bush 100%, i've never been to iraq myself but my husband has--therefore i support the troops totally. my husband has been in the army for about six years(active duty, 2 brothers and 1 sister enlisted as well, and a retired active duty dad) and plans to stay in until retirement. i really don't think you can support the troops but not the president, because the president is the soldiers boss--it is his job to tell them what to do(indirectly of course) and it is their job to do what he says. we have an all volunteer army, these men and women signed up knowing that if there were a war they would probably go, and might die. therefore, someone who "feels bad" for them and wishes they weren't there, and bashes our president, is all wrong. this is what these people are supposed to do! this is why we have a military system!
believe me, i love my husband with all my heart. i would never want him to die, but if he does in the line of duty, i would be very proud of him and not regret it. he is fulfilling his dream and helping out so many people, and not just americans. God bless the USA and all of it's troops.

Jamie, I'm a 52 year old disabled woman who CAN'T serve, but I do believe you can support the troops without supporting the president....that being said, I believe if you are of servible age & choose not to, I totally respect that because I believe the war in Iraq is wrong & would not go if I was of age just as many in my generation chose to dodge the draft to evade serving in VietNam....another war I didn't believe in.

Well i think that you can support them without supporting the president. and without being one. First at all , i am the spouse of a army soldier, so theres the support right there. I also did babysit the pets of soldiers who had to go to Iraq and send them care packages and pics of their pets.
If you cant stand behind our troops, stand in front of them.

The troops are following orders 24/7 we work..But even we don't support the president. We do our job, with out hesitation..because we hope that even though we don't understand as to why we are doing this hopefully they do..and they are who is in charge of ALL of us in one form or another and We want to protect Our People and this is what we get told it is to protect Our people.. so that is our faith that they know what they are doing.. Yet We Still don't support How He Gets things don...Understand?

Throughout our lives we are taught "team work" and what you can accomplish by the use of "team work". So, why in the most critical situation, where American's are sent to war with their life in their hands, we believe that "team work" is not important? I believe we owe it to every American soldier to work together as a team. Do you have the courage to put your differences behind you and work together as a team? Will working as a team get our soldiers home more quickly? I bet it would! I'm sure some words of encouragement will be more welcome on the battlefield!

I can support a man or woman who believes that in someway they are doing something for the good of their countrymen. I don't have to support a president who may be putting up false pretenses to have them believe this. Always support your soldiers because they take care of us!

I would ask..."HOW does one .."support" the troops?? I mean..are any of you sending em money..love...food?? Id like to understand this "Support" mechanism that seems to be in place for the average citizen of the US of A??
The troops are over there doing what theyre told...by an ugly, greedy little maggot of a Prez..and his minions [his daddys minions actually] in order to further an oilmans riches...
Does the term "Robber Barons" ring a bell??
