Well, that all depends on what state you live in. I live in GA and when i called an attorney after only 3 years of marriage, they said that because there were no children involved and it was less than 7 years I didnt really have much in lieu of rights to money. You should get some info in your state as to what stipulations there are regarding dissolutions and entitlement. I dont care how many people say that as soon as you are married everything is 50/50, cause its not. I would first check out the local law library in your area for such info. If you have an 800 number in your phone book for legal aid you can find out info for free, or sometimes you can call the superior court and they can tell you if there is an attorney under that county that helps with people who are doing their own divorce -in pro per. Or maybe you can find a paralegal who knows some of the info you might be seeking.

Get an anullment. It's faster, cheaper and easier than a divorce. Forget the business. Build your own business. Why stay with a man who's cheated less than a year into a marriage.. geezuz...

If the wife helps to run the business then she is part owner. If you cannot work out your differences then he should split the profit the business is making.

WOW, married less than a year, I know how you feel because the same thing happened to me. As soon as you say I do, you have legal rights. You need to contact a lawyer in your state. He will let you know what your leagal rights are.

Talk to an attorney, but I would sure think you were entitled to half of everything that was obtained while you were married if not half of everything. Get a good divorce attorney and make sure you know the finances.
Good luck.
