well... I don't think all Republicans feel this way... but there are some on here who do feel this way...
I LOVE the Republicans who are like "What... us?... when?" ... hahaha... that's great... they should just yell out "I have no idea who is in my party"...
but I don't think that these people that say these things really have much of a clue... they talk about bombing Iraq and use 9-11 as a defense.. hahaha.. that's golden...
But... you have to admit... Bush almost seems reasonable compared to some in the party... that's kind of scary...
OkWithIt: I have never seen anything to even come close to validating your statement... half of the conservatives think Iraq is responsible for 9-11... do you call that educated? I mean, it's great if you know what you're talking about... but that blanket statement says to me that you have no idea who your national constituency is...

War is a terrible thing. It should be used only as a last resort in an attempt to save lives. I believe this is what the current administration has done. Have they always been right? No! Are they evil people bent on world domination No! I would hate to live with making the decisions our leaders must make everyday. It is easy for you to throw your hate around and mock those who must lead, but I ask you, WHAT have you done to save one life? What have you done to promote peace? Why are you so quick to hate your own nation? Why do you lay all of the blame on only one political party? Have you forgotten that the Democrats also supported the war? Have you forgotten that EVEN Al Gore came out in support of the President in the beginning? We live in an instant society. We want instant dinners, instant cures, and instant solutions. Well with terrorism and politics in the middle east there is no instant fix. Remember what life was like there under Sadam. Before you brand your own countrymen as bloodthirsty, think of the lives they have saved, the people they have set free. Remember the attacks on our own soil and the people who were just sitting at their desks when a REAL terrorist flew the first plane into the World Trade Center. I am not smart enough to know the answers, but I am smart enough to not post treasonous garbage on the world wide web for our enemies to read. If your comments about our government cause even one American soldier to be tortured or killed, I pray that someday you will know it. I doubt you would care.

I don't say it because I don't feel that way. I felt like nuking someone in the first few days after 9/11, so thankfully I wasn't in charge. I think most of us are smart enough to know that going after a country that has or is developing nukes requires a different process. You guys yelled about UN approval for Iraq, so how come you're not happy that we're dealing with Iran through the UN? Or that we're using diplomacy with North Korea? I could have sworn that part of the complaint was that we didn't use enough diplomacy. Was I imagining that?

Why don't you grow up and learn what is going on around you. 3000+ people died on 9/11 - World Domination is not the goal - but having a safe and secure country to live in is. You probably like hearing how many women the previous president was messing around with and allowing 9/11 to happen. Republicans have had to fix the crap that was screwed up over the last administration.

first of all, it isn't really worth it trying to take over the world if you just intend to blow it up anyway. second of all since when is retribution and self defence called domination. Thirdly if the republicans where trying to take over the world they aren't trying very hard. The media is full of whiney propogandic celebrities that all think they know whats good for everyone, usually liberal hippie spoutings about the government trying to take over the world. The saddest thing is some people believe it. They actually listen fullheartedly to what the talking heads say they should believe. Then we, the general populace, has the gall to repeat what uneducated celebrities are saying, and claim it as are own ideas, (sacracsm-->) which are obviously more likely to be right than those government boys with their education, and training, and support enough to be elected.

You need to lay off the drugs.
Any country that opposes us? We stood up to Hitler, Mussolini, and Imperial Japan. We stood up to the soviet union, and to red China. There are murderers, warlords, gangsters, and terrorists all over the planet. You want us to just sit by and watch them kill innocent people?
And since when have we expanded our territory?
Since when does the world follow our lead?
Since when does the world care what we think?
Since when do we have control over these oppressive and murderous regimes?
You need to calm down and stop reading anti-American propaganda. I'm not saying this country is the equivalent of sainthood, I'm just saying there is a reason why everyone is trying to get in our country, and people are fleeing the others by the millions. Here's a clue:
Communism, socialism, dictatorship, fascism, militant Islam, and terrorism have consumed all of Asia, Africa, most of Europe, and have started regime changes in South America. Canada is socialist, and Mexico is run by drug lords.
No one wants to live under tyranny, criminality, communism, or anarchy. No one wants to be a slave or die under oppression.
America stands as one of only a handful of nations run by good decent people. If you don't like it, if you think I am wrong, visit China, Russia, North Korea, Pakistan, Iran, or any African nation sometime. Just try and survive under those governments.
Then maybe you won't hate America so much.

I'm a republican and have never spoken those words, nor heard them used in any conversation...joking or serious. The difference between conservatives and liberals is that conservatives will take the time to educate themselves and form their own opinions about international matters. Liberal will believe anything that Al Franken and Michael Moore tell them. Get a faster internet connection, and do some research. You'll see that your question is uneducated and a at least a little moronic.

You gotta love nutcase republicans when they try to blame Clinton for terrorism. Or the one I like best is when you cut down republicans and they try playing the old "you hate America" card.
Of course that's why the new age term for republicans is nutcase. Lets try to blame Clinton whenever Bush screws up. You ever notice how they never mention that Reagan gave arms to Bin Laden and then Iraq. Did you know that George H.W Bush and the C.I.A gave money and training to Bin Laden and the boys? Bet you never heard that from a nutcase conservative.
The best one is when Bush tried handing over our ports to countries linked to terrorism. Or when Bush never read the Presidential Daily Brief which said on the front "Bin Laden Determined To Strike U.S"
Betcha the Conservatives never mentioned that. Here is the point folks. The same Republicans who talk about blowing things up and anyone else who opposes Bush, are the same folks who gave money and weapons to Saddam. The same ones who trained and armed Bin Laden. The same Republicans who wanted to hand over our ports to countries linked to terrorism.
Now you know that its the Republicans who actually hate America.

I'd like to see a written article with direct quotes from a Republican (that matters) saying "Let's assasinate Kim Jong". If you just hear people on Y!A saying this, it's the Internet, everybody says stuff.

The funny thing is that democracy leads to this as it gives the government more power.
A republic prevents this sort of foolish action by keeping the governments power to a minimum.
Funny how Rome was a republic, successfully for a thousand years. Then it became a democracy, 200 years later it was so corrupted and useless it fell.
