I liked Angels and Demons better because I found it much easier to follow the plot, and it was also something that interested me much more. Making a connection between the Church and Science is always controversial, but Dan Brown did quite a good job of linking the two. The ending was kind of obvious, but still, it was well researched and clever. You should check out Deception Point. Thats my favorite book of his so far.

Angels and Demons - by far the better read. Too much hype on the Davinci Code. I found it to be a let down.

I favor the DaVinci Code co its more believable. A & D has too many plot twists. And also i didnt like the ending in A & D. In the end the cardinals dont tell people the truth but decide to use the publicity for their benefit.

I agree. While they were both extraordinarily similar, I enjoyed Angels and Demons a lot more. The whole Catholic-Priest murdering thing made me really happy. I mean...intrigued...

i think angels and demons is more appealing. but it isnt as controversial as the da vinci code so less people have read it.

dan brown writes garbage books! and he has sloppy endings! if you like the genere, i reccomend ¨the master and margarita¨ by mikhail bulgakov, much more engaging and funny...
that is, unless you are just reading books for the ´trend factor´.
