You will never really know. You can take tests to measure how smart you are compared to others but those who design the tests are limited by their own smartness. Use intuition as a guide.

There is a test that compares your answers to those of others. It is not an IQ test, it is called a Cognitive Capacity test. Many people take the same test (I am talking hundreds of thousands) and it compares everyones results based on time and accuracy of the questions answered. It is pretty fun actually. IQ tests are also pretty good, but they are actually based on a point scale and do not compare to anyone else.

You could take an IQ test but they are gender and culturally biased. There are different types of intelligence that I don't think there are ways to measure. One source is to go to Tickle.com After getting my score, I felt great but then when my score revealed that it was higher than 96% of the population, I realized that perhaps it would have been better not to have known. It can contribute to unfair feelings of elitism which really doesn't benefit others at all. Think it over. Is a number really a true reflection of your intelligence? Probably not.

"Imagination is more important than knowledge."
- Einstein

If you compare yourself to other people, you'll always find that you think you're smarter than some, and not as much as others. It's all about how you see yourself.

IQ tests are a measure of how you solve problems... they don't have a whole lot to do with how "smart" you are.

Experience usually makes you smarter.
