they're both great places...

i've been to STL two or three times, but i've spent more time in KC. it seems cleaner and definitely friendlier. just my experiences, tho.

if you're going, get a room at the raphael hotel on the ward parkway in country club plaza. well worth the $$.

St. Louis has so much to offer! I grew up near St. Louis in the "metro area" and spent a great deal of time there. Tour Forrest Park and the Zoo. I have been to zoos all over the country, but the St. Louis Zoo is my favorite. The children's zoo is fantastic. Visit the Jewelbox, Art Museum, Missouri Botanical Gardens. Catch a game at Busch Stadium. Don't forget a ride to the top of the Arch! Great night life, too. You can find clubs for what ever type of music you favor. I like to go around to the clubs to sample the different music and atmosphere. I LOVE ST. LOUIS!!

St. Louis. Kansas City has been going down hill for awhile now. At least that's my opinion.

KC is whiter and smaller w/ better barbecue / St. Lou has better Hospitals and is closer to Chicago and Memphis but you you have a much better chance of being a crime victim.
