I would vote for the best candidate regardless or race religion color sex etc. We spend to much time worried about what color and race and sex a person is and we miss out on WHO that person really is. A woman can do just as good a job as a man in any office. So sex should not matter at all.

If they're both equally qualified, I'd look at personality. Some women I've met in politics are quite rude and nasty. So are some men, of course. But I wouldn't vote for the woman just because she's a woman. She'd have to have something ideologically or personality-wise for me to like.

Absolutely! I'd vote for the woman. If for no other reason to see how she would handle the running of the country, world relations, etc. My husband is always saying snide things like "If a woman were elected we'd be at war the first time she got a bad case of PMS." He thinks he's being quite the comic, but you have to admit it would be interesting to watch. Besides, I seriously doubt that she could do a worse job than some of the men have in the past.

not definitely; if they are equally qualified, it would be a tough call... some women I'd vote for, others there is no way. I'd go with the candidate that would do the most for the office. Even if that means a write in.

I might well vote for the woman candidate, primarily to set the precedent among Presidents :) Not, however, if she appeared significantly less qualified than her male opponent ... but considering some of the men who have won elections in recent years... "that's a no-brainer".

The male, because I think that a man should always win over a woman. I would vote for the man just because the other is a woman.

I would vot for the most qualified person. In this case it would be both so I would then look at who was offering what. Then Decide. Truth be told I would probably vote for the male as I am a bit prejudgemental about women. (And I am one!!!!!)

Probably, unless she was on crack or something. We definitely need to have a female president. Men may feel like they always need to be in power over something, but women actually do handle stress much better.
