Boulder is it's own unique place. They refer to themselves as the 'People's Republic of Boulder', if that answers anything. It is a younger community and a college town. They are very political, very, um, earth loving (is that a good term?) and very free spirited.

Unique is the best term I can use.

If that sounds like a place you'd like, it is a beautiful spot of the woods to live in. But, it is pretty expensive. It depends on how you feel about that. If you're going for scenery, I think there are many places that are even more beautiful and less expensive.

Oh, and they love their Buffalos! (CU Football team!) Better be a fan, even if you're not, if you know what I mean!!! ;-D

Boulder is a great place to live, especially if you're young. There are lots of outdoor activites and groups to join. The people here are very friendly and out going, so you shouldn't have any troubles making new friends.
