I was a kid and my stepfather told me that everything I touch turns to sh**. So I touched him. He also called me a leach. Whoa, that's too deep.

I am not easily offended, but when a woman that I worked with called me a GD white trash, bi___. That was pretty offensive. I wouldn't have been quite as offended, however, if she would not have followed the offense with a large amount of spit directed at my face as she threatened to throw me down a flight of stairs.
The reason for the kind words from her? We worked in a group home with MR DD adults and lice was going around. We were treating everyone's hair and I asked her if it was true that the African American residents wouldn't get it because of the oil and stuff that they put in their hair. She freaked...and yes, I was offended.
After I went home she called our boss and quit because she thought she would be fired, but she was supporting two kids and I was using it as a second job...so when our boss called me to ask me what the heck had happened, I told her the truth, but asked her to not fire the other girl, just to write her up if she had to...but she really needed her job. I quit because I didn't think we could work together after that.
Hmmmm...hadn't thought about that for a while...thanks for asking the question...gave me the opportunity to vent a little. LOL

Actually, it was on here. I was having a personal issue and someone told me to get Valium and a gun. It shouldn't have bothered me, but it did. My grandfather committed suicide with a gun and I guess I am a little sensitive about certain things. :)

they refer to other chidren as 'normal' which leads me to believe they are referring to mine otherwise oh no i just remembered-- a nurse asked me if i knew i was having a 'special' baby when i was pregnant---she really turned special into an ugly word for me for a long time. my baby has downs syndrome & ppl r really uneducated about it.
