it could be normal as your body is trying to re-set itself after pregnancy. that is why it is a MUST to use birth control after not having sex for a couple months, as it is a prime time to get pregnant again and you are really not healed yet. you may be having the pains of your uterus shrinking - it continues to for a couple of months. if you had unprotected sex, then yes you could be pregnant. a couple I know has 10 kids that way, he just would not wait the couple of months and they did not believe in anything but rhythm method (after 10 kids I think they should have caught on!) Those kids are 9.5 - 11 months apart each, and she is a health-related mess from too much too often. I would call the doctor if it continues too long or grows worse. You may need to go to the urgent care center or ER if it is a hemorrhaging instead (that can also cause bleeding and pain). Best wishes and congrats on your baby.

Most of the time after you have your baby you are not ovulating for a while, especially if you breastfeed. Also, many people have some goofy bleeding for the first month or two after a baby due to the trauma of having a little parasite in your uterus for 9 months, stretching it out and stuff. So, although you probably are not miscarrying a new baby, it would be possible, just not likely

You're probably not pregnant. The pain could be regular mentrual cramps. And yes, this could just be a normal period. However, if the cramping becomes severe, definitely check with your doctor.

You shouldn't have had sex until you got the 'all clear' from the doctor at about 6 weeks after delivery. You should be going to the doctor anyways, so have him/her check it out.

your period will be all over the place for a while after you have given birth. it will settle eventually. as far as the pain in your tummy is i think it would be best if you check it with you doctorjust to put your mind at ease.
