I have never had one, but I have heard that eating yogurt will help with the yeast infection.

all I know is its a given if you are prone...your body has yeast...antibiotics makes more...yogurt puts the good active cultures that fight the bad...so that is good but while you are on antibiotic...ask doc if you can use the vagisil as well. I'm on amoxil and I am using the cream just incase...haven't had anything yet....but see a doc or ask one first. or do what nurse tina said :D

No; if it's going to happen, it will. Recent studies have shown that the active cultures in yogurt are NOT a help when balancing good and bad bacteria so you can just be prepared with Nystatin or Monostat just in case.

drink plenty of water as this helps the body balance/heal itself
I drink cranberry juice when I have a yeast infection but make sure it's cranberry juice and not a flavored water juice drink
