Can anyone tell me what a wallet style check is? I ordered a box form Washington Mutual and I had a choice between a wallet style check or another kind.. I don't know... I'm guessing a wallet style check is stored in a wallet and is ripped across?

wallet checks are long. they are the standard. the other choice may have been like book style, which is more for businesses. wallet can be with a duplicate carbon copy or not. i use the duplicate, because sometimes i'm in a hurry, and write a check, then i forget what it was for! duplicate checks are always in there for your reference. wallet checks, in case you don't want a duplicate, also have a ledger the same size as the checks. you will get a little checkbook that holds the checks on the bottom, and the ledger on the top. duplicates are more money, as are the business book checks.

It's the normal, ear from the top, with no stub, no duplicate (carbon copy) behind it, the other choice for individuals (not businesses) is Duplicate, it has the carbon copy behind it.
