I am a partisan of the National Mannshaft but I appreciate France quite a lot.

I think Germany is. They proved themselves worthy of being in the World Cup...they were the underdogs and were able to snatch the bronze which is still a huge achievement...especially for a team with such young players. They also proved to be great hosts...not partying too much...cutting their celebration time on the field as to show respect to the other teams. They were very nice about whatever they were doing and I think they are the most admired team in the World Cup this year. I expect to hear a lot more from the Germany team. They were very very surprising in the games.

I support Portugal. But I would have to say that 3 of the most admired teams are Brazil and England and France. Brazil did not live up to it's hype this year. They played quite badly all the way through yet they were the favorites to win the World Cup this year. The team is very talented and lots of people look up to and admire them, especially Ronaldo & Ronaldinho. The England team has one great player who is known WORLD WIDE, and that is David Beckham. I'm not saying that Henry, Terry & Rooney aren't great players I'm just saying that Beckham has become a household name and therefore in extension to admiring Beckham, people automatically like the England team. France has many players on it (especially Zidane) causing many people to admire them for their contribution to the sport as well as their talents. Zidane is one of the greatest of all time and therefore when he is on the French Team they in turn are one of the greatest teams.

I liked Argentina, Germany, Spain in the first round, France, even Mexico -- they played a great game against Argentina. Also, Ghana was great (hey, it was their first World Cup ever!) and Ecuador did a good job too. Australia and Ukraine weren't bad either, considering they were at their first World Cup.

I also liked England, I mean their players, but the team just didn't work out.

I honestly believe that Brazil is the most admired team in the World Cup; they play clean, entertaining, passionate, and they're simply fun to watch. On my second list, comes Portugal...you gotta love that C. Ronaldo guy, Maniche, Deco, Figo, Miguel--I mean they're all very well-skilled players.

Yeahh, definently Ghana. They worked so hard to get to where they got and they made history! It was good. But I hate them for knocking USA out. USA all the way. Whoot!
