and what is everybody thinking and say. I find it hard to believe tht even Ask The Planet(sorry) is for some good purpose of us all online. More like the goverment may be behind overseeing how people are like, where and what not. NO Im not paranoid. I know what I m saying. I think even through yahoo, which does protect our rights as freedom of speech but is restrained by gov laws etc, expresses to each of us what are the ways not to expres or say the wrong thing, because we are all watched. Thats THE MAIN POINT, WE ARE BEING WATCHED. So what do you think is goint to happen or do youthink they are spying on answers and radicalism or jsut flame fury that can get confused with radicalism. Or maybe now once a person falls on the wrong hands in gov that person is scrwed on a lot if not all. It happeSo based on this, and yr own experiences, what do you think is really happening that the goverment is turnint to (dictators, fascists, or) or do you see a glimpse of good future somehwere and how

somebody here said:
"Think
I lose respect for people who cannot coherently organize their thoughts.
How many people live in the US? How many Gov't employees would be allotted to do nothing but read what each of us type?"
ANSWER TO THIS: I KNOW THAT FACT IS EVEN WHAT YOU THINK IS WRONG AND ITS NOT PEOPLE BUT COMPUTERS TOO AND MASSIVE INFO PROCESSING COMPUTERS THAT REVIEW DATA NOT JUST FROM USA. SO IF THEY CAN MONITOR WORLDWIDE, WHY WOULDNT THEY MONITOR YAHOO? YAHOO ITSELF POSTS FOR YOU TO BEWARE THAT ALL IS WATCHED!

so no i dont think, i know, that from phones to computers (internet!!!) is being watched as well as email (gmail is a great example of how ALL WE TYPE is read already by information systems and that goes back to the goverment.

so pls dont insult me telling me to "think" and that you loose respect for ppl like me who post the question.
I have family in goverment around the world. I know.

It's just no feasible on the scale you are suggesting"

If our intelligence agencies are really spying here for "the good of the country", God help us all. Those are tax dollars at waste.

Ask the Planet is here for one reason; to attract people to Yahoo, because the "search engine" business is the strongest online, and they have to find a way to compete with others like them. So they find a way to add hits and length of stay through a nifty new program. My spam counter is already out the roof, and I've only been doing this a few weeks.

If you think the federal govt needs something as inane as this to track people's thoughts, you are severly underestimating them. They don't have to do anything in secret anymore, anyway. They have an activist judicial branch which is stripping the rights of US Citizens right before our very eyes.

Do you really think we are all being watched? No. But, I would say there are areas that get more "attention" than others. Blogs that are anti-gov of what every country you live in would be targets. The sites like how to make home made bombs would be anothers. I don't really think the things we talk about here would set off any gov bells or whistles.

I would not put it past this or any other administration, a lot of people like to make believe that the government has nothing but good intentions for it's citizens all the time, but according to history and common sense, that is not the reality of the situation. Our founding fathers are turning in their graves over the things the US government has done to it's people.

Yes, our country is becoming a fascist nation. As ToddfromM said our rights are being stripped everyday. The government no longer does it in secret it seems to be done with our blessing. While we sit here answering questions we are losing every freedom. Seems we have grown cmplacent. When we wake up and have to say Heil Bush we migh wish we had said more.

Sorry I didn't read everything you typed but as far as the first part, yes I agree. The goverment is watching everything we do and say. I just don't give a rat's butt if they know I think Bush is a cold blooded murderer.
