People do an ultrasound and when they find out that its gonna be a baby girl they would abort the baby.
This is controversial because doctor's are still doing it even after the goverment banned them from telling the mothers the baby's gender to avoid the problem.
The number of women dropped to almost half in the past then years.

Women are treated horribly in that country. Both just for being born and for having a girl. The only way anything is going to change is if they help themselves. But until then, women should do anything they can to protect themselves, and thier daughters from harm. Aborting girls is almost better for them than being born into that society, where killing women is not only not a crime, but often women are murdered by their own fathers and brothers.

they are messing with natural selection, they'll pay big time for it, imaging a place where there is 25% of one gender and 75% of the other, Offer and Demand Law at work

I absolutely hate abortion. My mother was going to abort me and I know I wouldn't have liked it one bit.

they do almost the same thing in China, they just dont abort it. its their culture, its all about the man not the woman..its extrememly ****** up but you have to see and understand their culture.
