Yes, do not let anyone encourage you to do something that you will be sorry for later. I have had a class 1 with air since i was 25. I drive for a living and i always have the attitude that there is still something i can learn. When you feel you know it all that's when disaster strikes. Mostly young drivers have to test their limits and i suppose it's natural but be careful. Good luck and many happy miles to you.

Don't make the same mistakes we did take your son out driving as much as possible. The driving school's take out 3and4 kids at once give 15 minutes behind the wheel ,change drivers and give the kids credit for an hour driving time. It's a shame they get away with it. I had to re-teach my daughter how to drive after paying a school.

Do you drink?
Keep you hands away from your hair!
It won't grow back !
Blindfolds won't help.
You need all the patience you can muster.
It helps if you let his Uncle teach him to drive.
Remember pressing your foot down hard
into the passenger side Floorboard
won't really help stop the car.
Eliminate any sharp objects or cords that may be used choke him or hang yourself from the Vehicle before you leave the drive.
Hang on it will be fun.
With Condolences: Grumpy

Depends entirely on your son's character, I had 4 son's and they and I survived it. Hope you have taught him responsibility and respect, if not, look out. Had 2 that thought they were invincible, I had many restless nights. Good Luck

Make him aware not nervous you are more likely to crash or fail the actual test if you are nervous and let him learn on his own by driving byhimself he will build his skills and confidence.

Let him become your chauffeur. The more you ride with him, the better he'll become and you'll be able to rest easy once he takes the car by himself.
