recent winning means zip. stay off Strip & you have a chance. Learn Video Poker & you have a bigger chance. Sams Town wins awards for Best Casino regularly. Plenty of shuttles to Strip & Downtown. $4.99 Breakfast/lunch buffet during week is fine as is $8.99 weekend brunch. Payouts only known by area - Strip area worst. Best is up on Rancho (Texas, Fiesta, Santa Fe) with boulder Hwy (Sams, Boulder Station, Arizona Charley's East) next. Payoffs on a given machine recently mean nothing.

I live in Vegas and have for the past 13 months. I would have to rate the top buffet's as being Sam's Town, Rio and Mirage. They're good and they have something for everyone, of any age (kids would love it too!). The best slots, in my opinion are at Luxor. I've won there numerous times and wouldn't really go anywhere else. The slots are tight out here, I'm not going to lie to you. But, I have had the most luck at Luxor and have enjoyed many buffet's and the top three are listed above. Enjoy your stay!!!

I have been to LV 5 times, and I can tell you that the Mirage is the place for slots. They have an atrium near the front desk. It is like a small green house with cool plants etc...
Walk through there and turn tight left and play the "Top Dollar" series of machines. Near the Carnegie Deli - which is awesome BTW, there are machines that look like they have Popcorn machines on them - they are also HOT HOT HOT!!!
Finally, near the tables and towards the elevators, there are 3 sections to check out - the $5 slots are VERY loose there, they have a Polynesian restaurant that is phenominal (Samba Grill) and all you can eat, and their buffet is there, which is also great.
Best of luck and let me know how you make out...

The M Resort, about 6 miles south of Mandalay Bay has a great one with free Beer and Soda, or Wine. Like $14, a person get a players card any any site. Bellagio is fantastic but more like $40 a person. There is the Silverton on Rt. 15 south, near Blue Diamond. Again in the $14 range, but each day of the week they change the menu items. Really nice place. I am giving you a little different that the main places, as I live here and have been to these. I would check them out if you have access to a car.

I think the Wynn hotel has the best slot machines because my mom won a a lot of money there........u should play the wheel of fortune that what my mom played and she won lyke a lot of money.....The wynn hotel is right on the strip.....it's only lyke 2 years old......and for buffet.....lyke for dinner would have 2 be at the Cannery.....it's a casino but it's not on the strip it's only about 15 minutes away from the stripp.....it has a dinner buffet that is soooooo good.... all u can eat anything a ton of crab and seafood....prime rip and a ton more i thing it runs at about 39.99 a person but believe me on the strip it's even worse!!!

Last time I went to Vegas, I hit big (which basically means I won my money back) at The Wynn on those machines where you can get a double spin (but they're not wheel of fortune). My friend one at the win too MANY times and she played the In The Money quarter machines....GOOD LUCK!!!

ive never gambled before, so i wont be much help there, but ive been to alot of vegas buffets. the Boulder station has really good steaks and shrimp dinners on fridays, i think. it could be monday. but i remember likeing it. thats probably my favorite. but vegas has buffets like u have hair: everywhere u look, a buffet. and they all serve basically the same stuff. so, whereever ur staying will probably have one and im sure it will be good.
have a good vacation!
