From what I know Totti, Cannavaro and Maldini all name their sons "Christian". Why did they do that? Does it have anything to do with Christian Vieri?

It's popular in Italy, not only to players.
Mainly ppl likes how it sounds, religion is poorly involved.
;-) Vieri ISN'T involved at all!!!!

My friend named her son Christian, and I wondered the same thing. Sounds as good a theory as any!

It's a beautiful name. Hopefully that their sons will be as holy and as good as the name given to them.

Maybe it's for religious reasons - after all, Italy is strongly Roman Catholic, and Vatican City is located within Rome.

properly in India for the time of older circumstances the names of older human beings were fairly humorous and previous shaped compared to widespread circumstances. in contemporary circumstances no individual ought to call their baby "Bhagwan" or "Ishwar" (meaning God in English). yet i understand few previous those with this names, for eg: My forefather's call became "Bhagwandas" Bhagwan potential God and das is suffix. yet there are a spread of Hindu & Jain Gods, Goddesses & Deities. such multiple mum and dad call their children after those Gods, Goddesses & Deities. even as there are a spread of synonyms for God in Indian Language. such multiple Indian mum and dad call their children with such synonyms of God. For eg: My cousin's call is Siddh, meaning bodyless God as in accordance to Jainism. right here Siddh is fairly contemporary call and its meaning is God. some call their son as Vibhu which also propose God. some call their son as "Krishna". Krishna became Hindu deity. (Pls be conscious - Hinduism and Jainism are religions of India)
