Well I have gone through that kind of situation.. I have a couple of ?'s for you.. DO you have the kids right now? If you do you are basically the main custodial parent and have all the rights to what happens with the children.. He is suppose to be paying child support and helping you.. Any company you work for is allowed to give out any kind of information about you unless it is from another employer asking work ?'s It is a very hard time to go through. If he has made ANY kind of threats or promises to do anything to you.. I would report him in to the authorities right away.. Try and put the ball into your court and make him shake a little. I am sure you are losing a lot of sleep over all this. I did for a long time.. Keep yourself and those children safe by all means.. if he is bad for them. My advice is get a real good attorney that will help you get through this and make everything he says and does from this moment record it on paper or on a tape recorder. Take care and good luck write me back if you want..

first of all...you'd better make sure you have a lawyer...second...it is illegal for any employer to give out ANY info about you to anyone...all they can say is if you worked there and when...also...unless you are a drug addict or physically abusive to your child, there is very little chance a judge will take your son away...i went through this same thing and made the mistake of representing myself, and my ex actually won full custody of both of my sons...if i would've just had a lawyer, it would've made all the difference...GOOD LUCK

first of your employer is not allowed to give out that info if they do you can sue the company and second put a restraining order on your ex i would also notify employers and tell them what is happening and that if your info is released with out the proper documents ie search warrent or other decree from a judge they are to keep your info confidential hippa is not only for the medical field

unless your ex has someone on the inside telling him stuff, dont worry about it. they legally cant give out your info. if they do, you can sue them. as far as your ex, you can try to get a protection order against him. just go tell your lawyer what he's doing. you can also go to the police if you have proof of what hes doing.

i think if he has a lawyer you cant stop him from getting that information... but if he doesnt then you should probably get a restraining order out on him
