IT IS GREAT THE FRENCH LOST. They played an OK game and the better team and the better people won. The french are back stabbing jerks, they have no respect for anyone except themselves. By the way the players had nothing to do with the scandals.

I always have a kind thought for the losing team, these are humans with emotions too, right? Think how you feel when you lose. No, I am not a partisan of France. (partisan of Argentina). But I think they played a better game in the last 75 minutes and deserved to win. It is not choking to miss a goal (Zidane's header or Trezeguet's close - inches - penalty). I believe Italy resorted to cheap and unfair tacticts to win. It is a shame to win this way. Remember FIFA Fair play. Or is this utopic?

I absolutetly agree that it's amazing that the french lost. I'm not German, but I'm the biggest Spanish fan ever! Ever since France beat Spain, I've been praying that France would lose (you can imagine my frustration when Brazil AND Portugal failed). I actually don't even like Italy that much, I was just rooting against France.

I'm always on the French side, at least they weren't on German and Japan's side during the WWII. Plus, French had won a few world cups before. At least French didn't invade other countries. and I don't understand ... did Zibane did anything wrong? If I were him I'll kick that Italian's groin for sure.

The French played a very good game. They just couldn't score they came close but that doesn't count. Congrats to the Italians!!
