The reason I ask this question is because I was 4 months pregnant about a week ago with identical twin boys, I under went the laser surgery to give them both a chance at life and lost both babies on the 4th of July, one in the morning and one that night. I have been devastated, but I not giving up on having a baby. Right now I just tend to have emotional problems after everything I have been through, but I want to know from other women is it possible to be pregnant before your next 4 week check up?

First I want to say that I am very sorry for the loss of your twins. ITs absolutely devastating to lose a child. I lost a baby(at 6 weeks) on March 29,2002 and found out I was pregnant again in May of 2002. The drs. were very concerned because I did not give my body time to heal. My son was born healthy in Jan of 03. I really think you need to give yourself some time to heal and grieve. I would talk to your dr before trying to conceive again so quickly.

I'm so sorry to hear that. I miscarried in my third month with a baby. But I had to go six months without trying, My fiance is in the navy. But right now, I'm anxiously awaiting the test results of another possibly pregnancy.
It is possible. After having a baby or miscarrying, you are really fertile. And if you've done anything, well, you have a very good chance of concieving again. Good luck and my deepest condolences.

Yes it is possible, it happened to my sister, but sometimes after a miscarriage, you still have some of the pregnancy hormone and it will give you a false positive.

i am so sorry-i totally understand what your going through, i miscarried twins on may 31 this year and still havent got my period...i still have emotional problems and feel depressed alot of the time.but what is helping me through it is knowing that i will see them again and that god took them for a reason AND PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT BLAME YOURSELF IT IS NOT YOUR FAULT...GOOD LUCK TO YOU and me and may we have twins again and may we all be very healthy and happy. Im wondering the same thing if i could be pg or not now-im just scared to take a test...

im not 100% sure but it takes time to show up but why did you miscarry and if you were to get preg again would you be able to carry the child full term?

i would say yes but why would u want to get pregant after losing your babys u need to give yourself to heal from having the miscarriage

I had this happen to me twice, i have had 7 miscarrages, all where at different times during the pregancy............. dont give up!! I was able to have a healthy baby boy........

yes it is possible to get pregnant. doctors do not recommend that you allow it to happen but it can happen your body needs to heal.

my friend is having this like exact problem happening to her... its possible u could be pg.. i htink my frine dis and so does hse but we're not for sure yet.. im really sorry about wut happened to ur babies. best wishes,
