People in general like different genre of music. Besides most people who hear a certain pop, R&B and rap have a certain little beat that you like (the Whisper Song, Grill and Ridin') you can dance to or sing it in your head.
Don't be fooled because there are more people who like classic music such as Beethoven, Mozart and Tchavioksy to name a few than you think as well as jazz music. I one of them but I don't listen to it that much or have it in my music collection. I hope this helps you out in your answer.

Its not that they don't like it but look at the marketing for the other genres versus classic and jazz, there just isn't much marketing on it. The industry is going to sink their marketing dollars toward the target market, those between the ages of 16 and 25 spend the most on music than other age categories as a whole. Its not that they don't like it, it is that they have very little exposure to it besides the elevator.

Becuase people want to dance to rough music or classic music like R&B jazz is classic too but R&B has more vibe people dont like boring music I like some jazz songs I listen to all types of music
