magchild... you and my husband could be best friends.

Sorry to thread jack here but...

Don't you guys realize the hurt you cause when you do not want to celebrate another year of survival in your marriage?

Honestly... if it's not worth the barest notice... what's the point of staying together?

Ok... I'm done :)

I'm into Harley Davidson motorcycles in a big way. My wife gave me a leather jacket that was a limited edition Harley 100 year Anniversary jacket. I had really wanted one but knew that with 4 kids it was not theasable because it was so expensive. But she saved for over 2 years and got it for me. Some people may think that is kind of weird but it was something I had wanted since I had first heard they were coming out with them. I think it took about a week before i stopped grinning from ear to ear. It was the best gift I ever got.

Renew your vows ... it will show him how much you love him. Inform his closest friends beforehand so they can be there to relive the moment.

I'm a guy .. not married yet ... but love the thought of it.

Another option ... if he's big into sports ... check out the website of his favorite sports team. A lot of teams have auctions for some cool stuff. Like throwing the first pitch of the game out (baseball) or riding the zamboni (hockey).

I know this is for the men, but for my husband's last birthday, I had him take my truck to work, bought him new tires for his car AND took the car in to get them mounted. We met up after he got off work and went to Pizza Hut for dinner. (The kids were at home so it was just us.)
