if ur going to a tech school, then u probly wont need to take it. but if its a 4-year college, then yes, u should take the SAT in high school. i would take it ur junior year. that way if ur not happy with ur score, you could always take it again.

When I was in high school 13 years ago, you had your choice of either taking the ACT or the SAT. A few people I graduated with took the SAT, but most took the ACT. The schools they chose accepted both scores.
These days, it would be wise to take both unless the school you are thinking of attending asks for one or the other in their admissions requirements. Check to be sure.

no they are optional. but i would suggest taking them b/c a lot of universities look at them as well as act scores. You can always retake the SATS again too. Not all universities require them, some require 1 out of the 2, and some don't require any. It all depends on what you want to do and what university you want to apply to.

Well, it depends on the university you want to attend. You can also take the ACT'S but colleges/universities usually require one of the 2.

Not necessarily. DeVry will let you take their own tests (for a fee, I'm sure).

You could take the ACTs instead, if you're more science-savvy.
