Well, I think if you look on the outside it definitely looks like the woman hurts more...but men have to hold everything inside and not show others their hurt due to showing weakness...I have seen some women hurt really badly...including myself...and I've seen some men hurt really badly too...I guess the question isn't which hurts more, but who loved most...

I think it's definitely harder on a man. In society, if a man cheats on a woman, it's not really a reflection on the woman, most people will see the man as being a jerk. However, if a woman cheats on her man, most people look at the guy and think, "What a loser. He can't keep his woman happy. He must not be any good in bed."
As much as people like to think that we have progressed, there are still basic roles for men and women in most people's minds.

A woman because we expect that he loves us and cares about us and we are the only one in his life because that's the way we feel about him.
Men will say anything to get a women in bed. That doesn't mean he cares for her. When she leaves or is unfaithful he just gets another. Women grief and grief over the guy.
