Loves computers, eletronics, a few sports

Gets A's & B's in classes

I wear polo Shirts and sweater vests BUT i make the sweater vest look cool by letting the shirt hang out that the vest is over.

There are only 2 boys who wear a Sling Backpack and the other one is a popular kid.

A few people call me a nerd most people Like me but I really don't know .

I don't have glasses and I dont have pencils in my pocked

I think part of the reason why people call me a nerd is because I have red hair.

Looking at that woul you call me a nerd.

You don't sound like a nerd at all to me. Nothings wrong with liking electronics and computers, that's where the money is. Hopefully you keep that up and you'll be bringing in the bacon in the future. Your style of dress sounds kinda preppy. That's not a bad thing and sling bags are cool. You shouldn't want to be like everybody else anyway.Keep being your unique self. It doesn't matter what other people think anyway.

Personally, I wouldn't call you a nerd. But there are a lot of people out there who just loves label. I guess it's their way of putting things into perspective.. Kinda like, "oh, this guy is goth.. so stay away from him.." or "oh, this fella is a nerd, walk all over him".

Sometimes, the safest bet is knowing who you are. At 14, you may be still searching. Don't crumble under peer pressure. If you like the way you are right now, then who cares about what others say? You are not a nerd just because you have red hair and others label you so.

the definition of nerd has changed alot over the years. just like you described, the pocket protector and glasses were a dead give away! nowadays, it seems a nerd can encompass much more and isn't a bad thing! everyone gets put into a group and being a well rounded fella' with a sense of personal style isn't a bad one to be in! enjoy your hobbies and have fun with your friends!! and don't worry about a "nerd" comment here and there. i've been married to a nerd for 9 years and he is the best thing that ever happened to me!! good luck this school year!

YOu seem like an intelligent kid. Even if people think you are a nerd now, believe me after you are done school the "popular" kids having nothing but their glory high school days. Besides noone will think your a nerd when your making boatloads of money because of your smarts and the popular kids are spending there days asking people if they want fries with there burger and living in their parents basement!

Sounds like you are fairly well balanced. If you are smart some people are jealous and react by calling you a nerd. Just take it as a compliment. You do have friends so you're not a complete nerd. Just a smart sociable person.

Only the sweater vest-thing.

People seem to think that discrimination towards people with red-hair is ok but it isn't. That is just as bad as racism or any other discrimination.

ya man the red hair is killing u, maybe if ur really skinny and a lil shy that mite add to the effect. people mite think ur trynna copy some style that isnt you, best thing to do is jz let people know u better. but uhmm if ur skin isnt tooo light, which is the case for many red heads, i dk, try and do something about that... possible color change?
