Thank all of you who answered my question about the pit bull in the yard with children. Most of you answered that the father is responsible for caring for his children regardless of their actions.
What if I told you that by "a man" I meant GOD and by "pit bull" i meant SATAN? Would you change your answer? I'm sure most christians would..
What does this mean?
That God bears no responsibility for placing temptation in the world?
That unconditional forgivness is a quality of human beings and not of God?
That because we are created in God's image, people who are unforgiving are closer to God than those who firgive?

you are saying that god is nothing more than an errant father that doesn't keep track of His children? That could offend SO many!

Comparing man to God is like comparing apples and speed boats. Completely irrevalant and makes the question ridiculous. Nice try at being insightful though!

i think that the father bears some of the responsibility for the child, but, i also feel that we ALL learn from trial and error...unfortunately some learn nothing and just have the scars from the experience to deal with

The Bible says we don't see as God sees. He loved King David, even though King David had a lot of blood on his hands. BUT...God knew his heart!
