OK, OK I'll play... I guess I would have to say I'd be...oh I don't know! I don't do drugs. I'll say morphine because it can make people who are in pain feel better! But I guess all drugs do that eh?

MDMA (the main ingredient of an ecstasy pill as you know I guess)- sorry but I am a great advocate of it.
Relatively safe - if you won't go crazy with the amount, the death toll is few times smaller than the one caused by paracetamol. Addiction almost impossible - it releases serotonins and endorphins your body accumulated, so ones you used your natural reserves of the hormones, you have to wait for a few days for your body to rebuild it. This way you can't take the drug every day as you won't achieve the proper effect.
It suppress fear (maybe this is the reason why is called "the love pill" as for me love is the opposite emotion to fear)
It increases your ability to communicate, you have the feeling that you say exactly what you want to say in the exact moment. For this qualities DEA started the clinical tests to allow the drug to be used in treating cases of post traumatic stress disorder (link below) This, plus lack of fear therefore shyness and immense pleasure in non-sexual touching someone got me very close to people. The closeness didn't disappear afterwards.
The music is great to listen and to dance to, but this can be my personal experience. I always have a lot of energy and excitement although it might be combined effect of amphetamine usually added to.
It has it's drawbacks too. I am sure it can't be good for your health, especially for you memory and brain, but on the other hand, I don't think it's worse than a night of heavy drinking.
Also you can get so close to somebody that it gets out of control, you can actually fall in love with more than one person. I mean the infatuation of course - you miss this person- or people, think they are great,want to be close to them and touch them. Everyone gets really confused. It may pass or may get heated up, you will become a couple- or suffer badly, feeling unhappy and terribly in love.
Last year there was un article in one of the national papers in my country that MDMA is very effective in treating symptoms of Parkinson disease. It can be used as a substitute when the body get used to proper drugs for this illness.
I could go on and on, especially when there is a sort of tropical storm outside, unusual for my rather cool East- European climate and I am completely unprepared, stranded here. But I'll better shut up or they will block my note;)

Hmmmm....if I were a recreational drug I'd want to be marijuana because it is laid back and relaxing and some people can live relatively normal lives without addiction while using it. It grows in abundance a lot of places and can be picked up along the side of the road and is worth a lot more than roadkill.

Serotonin. I live for serotonin. It energizes you and makes you high at the same time. The best way to get it (for me) is to ride long distances on my bike. It's addictive and it's the best thing for your body.
