Ya know itty, I am by no means young. I have friends who are much older than I, in their 70's and 80's and I have had deep discussions with them in an effort to prevent my own mid life crisis. It is universally agreed upon, that you are never too old to fall in love, and you're never too old to rekindle an old flame. That gives me so much hope and makes me feel so very good that there is someone out there just for me!!!! Puts a smile on your face doesn't it? Great question!!! Nana

There is absolutely no age limit to when a person can fall in love...no one is too young or too old to experience the delightful feeling of falling in love.

I don't really think that there's an age limit set on when you can or can't fall in love.
The important thing is to keep yourself happy spiritually, and mentally. Make sure that you're not falling in love for the wrong reasons, and make sure that you and your significant other are ready for the commitment and responsibilities that follow.
If you're not ready to handle any one of those things, then you should restrain from running into something that may potentially hurt you in the longrun.

"Too old" does not exist, when it comes to love.
Far too often, people are willing to put limitations on their happiness, or that of their loved ones. That's inappropriate, when it comes to love. As long as both parties are of age and are mutually attracted and available, there should be no limits.
When my first husband and I divorced, I was 26. It was always my hope and desire to marry again, if I was blessed with real love. I was, and I was 40 when I walked down the aisle again! It's been nearly eight years since we've been married, and the relationship has been going on for a total of 12 years.
As an extreme example, I'll offer the story of a long dead great-great uncle of mine. He had the misfortune of marrying several times as a young man and then losing his wives to illness. Finally, very late in life (over 90 years of age), he met his final wife when they were both in the same nursing home. They married there, and we the family had the satisfaction of knowing that he was truly happy for his final years. Whenever the staff could not locate one of them, they could always find them in the other's bed. He died at 98!
