Just go to thsi web site it has all of the information you need. It will take about 4 to 6 week for you to get the passport unless you pay the express services fees, then it still takes 2 weeks.

Passports are issued by the US Department of State. But you can get the application at your local post office. If not, just go online to the passport office web site below. You will need two small photos to go with your application and you can usually get those at a AAA office, some travel agencies do them and other places advertize passport photos. You can take your application to the post office or mail it to the passport office. If you need the passport in a hurry, you can request expedited service and pay extra for the express mailings. The normal processing time for expedited service is at least two weeks.

Easy, you will need a passport picture. Do it now because it takes about 6 weeks.

It's very simple. My boyfriend had to complete some paperwork and get his picture taken, but nothing extraordinary.

Use this web site as a guide: http://travel.state.gov/passport/get/first/first_832.html

You can go to the post office and get an application and some post offices you can get your photo taken there. Once you send off the application, it'll take several weeks, unless you've got extra bucks to get it faster! its pretty easy.
