Jesus was neither black or white. He was born in the mid-east so I think he was more of a brown color skin. Although I don't think the color of anyone's skin makes them who or what they are.

Jesus was a jew and there are black jews, white just about any color. Jews were actually people from all races thats why God chose that nation. When Jesus came as a jew he represented all mankind. or for all mankind
His race or color is unimportant or the bible would have said.
As a spirit creature now in heaven he doesn't have a flesh and blood body. 1corthanians 15:50 States that flesh and blood cannot inherit the heavens. So color or race isn't important

Since Jesus was a Jew from Israel, there is a huge likelyhood he was darker skinned than white but lighter than black, very similiar to today's people of that land. It doesn't make any sense that he would have had a black or white mother or father. The message of Jesus though is not one of race, I do not remember him saying anything about white/black people, just all people. The good samaritan is a great story of how other tribes/races are as good as ourselves. If we want to think Jesus is a black pygmy, so what? It's the message that matters.

Well, according to the lineage of Mary, Jesus was Jewish- from the lineage of Judah, but also from the line of David. It is supposed that the line in Luke 3 records the line of Mary, not Joseph.
And Matthew 1 records the line of Joseph.
But what color did God imbue with the Holy Spirit upon the unborn Christ? Nothing too different from what would be common to those born in Israel at that time. I think that there would have been a remark aboiut his appearance if it was too different.
All in all, this is not important to me. He is Jesus my Christ. And I owe him my life.

Jesus was Jewish, which is a race and the Bible tells you that. No one knows what color his skin was nor the color of his hair nor of his eyes. However, he was of a semitic group of people as are Arabs. He therefore very probably had black hair and was dark-skinned and had dark eyes.

He was Middle Eastern, so he had a medium to dark brown complexion; dark, curly hair; brown eyes; probably short (5'2" - 5' 8"); and probably had a big, honkin' Middle Eastern nose.
He'd be nothing like those European, Middle Ages (or modern for that matter), frescos, portraits, and statues.

Wasn't he Jewish? I am assuming he was dark instead of pale like many people seem to believe. If he was a carpenter he would have worked outside too , making him even darker.

When he was born it describes him as having skin of bronze and hair like wool. Sounds pretty middle eastern to me.
