They will win but the results won't show it just as the true results didn't show how Kerry won the 2004 election.

They do not have a good history of seizing an opportunity. I really hate the dems for being politically stupid...or timid as you call it.

A good example is Dukakis against Bush Sr. Not once did he mention Iran-Contra during the campaign or any debates, yet Whitehouse records showed that Bush was at 17 meetings involving Iran-Contra. When a reporter asked Bush about it, he said he didn't remember. Dukakis should have been all over that.

With a heavy heart, I would have to say yes. As the President has ticked off most liberals and enough of his base, I see the pendulum swinging. Although, I would have to say that might depend on who they offer up. Offer up a far leftist like Hilary, no. Offer up someone more to the middle like Lieberman, good chance.

The Dems' problem isn't timidity. Their real problem is being a bunch of self-righteous dillholes about everything.

the dems will probly win (unfortunately) because in american history it is quite common to see the electors elect a diffrent party after a tragedy or war. but maybe the reps will pull it off (i hope so)

I think they will gain seats, but R's will still maintain control. D's need to listen to the people. Oh, and they need to shut up Kerry, Pelosi and that Congresswoman who said Lieberman wasn't liberal enough! Is she purposely turning people against D's?

Bethie--Hillary is not a far leftie--look at her voting record and stop listening to Bill O'Reilly

who knows... they certainly do have the door open for them though... you can't ask for a more accommodating bunch of incumbents that seem to screw up around every bend...
