Does anyone know how Enya's name is pronounced? For anyone who doesn't know, she's a fabulous Irish singer.

I saw her on Jay Leno once, and she pronounced it ONya. She is Irish, and her first language is Gaelic, so she speaks with an accent. Most Americans call her ENya, but she says ONya. Her real name is Eithne Ni Bhraonain. She adopted the name Enya so she wouldn't have to explain how to pronounce her first name all the time.

In Ireland they pronounce it Ah-nya. Here it's Eh-nya.
