Depends what your definition of being rich is, some people feel rich with thousands others with millions and some only with billions, but the lamest thing anyone could do is announce to the world (as awkwardly as you did) that they are rich.

i was rich when i was a little girl. my parents had a lot of money. we went travelling around europe twice. i've been to the vatican, switzerland, paris, venice, rome, munich, frankfurt, london, and so on. i used to live & study overseas. ahh, the life that we had. we really had everything. but now, i'm just like everybody else... but... with expensive taste. =)
