I heard some people talking about how you could press some button on the keyboard and it automatically would take a sort of digital picture of whatever is on your screen at that moment. But of course, I could be mistaken; it might just be for some computer game, or something. Still, it would be nice to know, if it is indeed possible.

For me,
PrtScn will capture the entire screen.
ALT-PrtScn will capture the active window.

if you are using windows, press the "print screen" button.
This transfers whatever is on the screen into the clipboard.
Go to your graphics program (like Paint) and paste.
Save. (this should be a .jpg file)

With Mac, you can get a free program that will make a screenshot.

press the "print screen" button on your keyboard, the screenshot is copied to your clipboard and you can then paste the image into an image editing program.

You can do that pressing 'print screen' button close to the 'delete' button. Then open Paint, and go to edit-paste. Ta-dah!!!

click print screen, and then you paste it in paint by click control + v

"prnt scrn" is the keyname. It's real name is print screen.
