That depends a lot on where you were living, and of course your lifestyle.
Like the movie stars of today- who can't seem to get by on less than $21 million a year... the celebrities of the 30s had pretty expensive lifestyles, but their salaries were closer to $21,000 a year.
A family in New York, during the depression could get by on $100 a week, if they had to- but few had that much money.
I'd say the cost of living is about ten times higher now, than it was then.
To make a contrast, a hamburger and fries cost about 75 cents in 1938. Now, it's about $7.50, depending on where you get it.

No one has an accurate count.
Very little because people shared food and grew their own vegetables in "Victory Gardens".
