no, they have to go through qualification like everyone else, and there'll be another European Cup before 2010 anyway.

They're not even automatic for Euro 2008, but it's not the toughest group. Greece is in the same group as Turkey which should be an interesting two matches.

No, only South Africa is assured of being in the 2010 World Cup at this point.
(The defending champion exemption was done away with after 2002)
