kobe and the lakers have a better chance of getting hit by a lightning than winning a championship. why would they win? because of their prized acquisition which is radmanovic? nope.... not happening...

They won't win...not because they're not good enough, but just because every other team is going to just get better and better. Well, that kinda is saying that they're not good enough but that's beside the point. Right now is the time to try to win a championship, but they can't with the pieces they have. Unless they pull like some monster trade to bring a good big man (KG wants out of Minnesota, and JO was on the trading block though this one's probably out), it's not gonna happen within the next few years. So, no matter how much this pains my heart to say, with Kobe, there's not gonna be another championship in LA. They can't build another championship in time for Kobe to carry them to the Finals. Maybe as a starter at say...age 35...(that's what...7 years?), but then he won't be the star...we're gonna have to find another one.

Wats Good Cookie, First let me say good to see another Laker fan out there through all the hate on Kobe. They are missing alot of elements. They have players who can develop like George, Walton and Parker(Also Jordan Farmar might be something but that is yet to be seen). I see a championship run in 4 to 5 years. They will get in playoffs during this wait but most likely put out in first round. But Kobe is a great player and can easily have a team bulit around him. They need a big man too, not a Shaq but someone who can defend and score a little. Kobe is learning and is really improving at being a leader. You see him showing his team mates mistakes and you saw him jump in and save Vujacic from getting a tec.

HELL NO! think twice befor u ask that again. or ask urself only! The lakers have no chance. Who is their center? Who is their point guard? I hope Smush Parker is better next year but other than that they need a center and their stupid to trade Shaquille Oneal. A Championship? When Kobe retires.

Maybe not now, but in the future in is a reality. If another good player was to join Kobe the possibilities would sky rocket. They are the Lakers and they will win more titles like it or not.

The LosAngeles Lakers organization is a proud dynasty.. They will have 5-6 years drought but will eventually find a way to get the Championship back to LA..

Expect Boston to do the same..

I really doubt it unless kobe shares the ball and they get a good center again they might get farther in the playoffs but i think the heat have the best chance

A big one. An array an young talent ready to explode, and then they always have the best player in the league in Kobe.

In another 20 years. As for right now, very slim chance of doing that.

With their current roster? No, not even close. They need to add at least one big name to that line up to push them past Dallas and San Antonio. If Kobe can get a star who will play along side him they will be great.
