Lol! That's hilarious!! They are so tall and lightning hits trees first. I can't stop laughing. I'm not sure any published studies have been conducted on this to ascertain those statistics to locate on the internet, but I'd say several dozen giraffe are killed by lightning strikes every year. LOL!

No exact count.
This was very difficult to research.
I estimate that out of 84,300 giraffes that none were killed by lightning. This is not exact so maybe a few were killed.

i want to give an answer to ur question.

1]it is not an exact count it depends on the place and on the weather on tht place.but we can never give an accurate answer it is just an estimated answer.though if anyone gives an answer it can never be accurate because no person could be present all over the world to see how many giraffes are killed every year.

Very interesting question, but I'm afraid there aren't many who even have an answer that is close enough. I would think a few do get struck, but the ratios could be as close to the number of humans who get killed each year.
