My young bunny is inside now all the time in her cage. Now I am letting her out a lot more out of the cage for her exercise. But my question is, how do I catch her to bring her back to her cage? She's too fast!...thanx!

offer some treat, like celery leaves or carrot tops. My rabbit also eats the canned ones. Get's him out of hiding in a flash!

Firstly, rabbits are prey animals, so if something is running at them, they are definitely going to feel threatened. I would very gently and calmly follow the rabbit around and get close enough to pick it up. Take gentle and quiet movements towards the rabbit, and if it tenses up or seems ready to run, then freeze and relax. Wait until the bunny calms a little back and resumes normal behavior to move again. You can also do little things like scratching behind your ear and rubbing your face, or picking at your hair. To the rabbit, it'll look like your grooming yourself and that gets you brownie points. It'll take a little patience and time, but you'll get it.

i know this will sound funny but bere with me. if you have a room that does not have a lot of furniture that sits low to the ground you can let her run around in there as long as you are in there and it is safe(no electrical cords or small areas for her to get weged in) or you could also do as i did for my giant rex, i got him a harness and a leash this way i could put the leash loop under a chair leg while i was doing an activity in the same room and could keep an eye on him or i could take him for walks outside with me (if he got tired i would carry him home) if doing an outdoor activity (BBQ,hanging outside)you can always put him in a baby play area, those short fence like things you can connect and make diffrent sizes like a play pen with no bottom they work great also for puppies.

Put her cage on the floor when you let her out so that she has access to it. And, yeah, put treats in there to lure her in. Depending on how long you have her out, she may just go back in her cage when she's ready.

Don't know, I had a flobby ear rabbit indoors but he never ran away from me, but when I put carrets or some other veggie on the floor he was quick to get it...Try doing that to catch your bunny ^_^ Might work...Good luck

your bunny will go back to her cage because that is the only place food and water is at. Trap her in the corner and find a box or laundry basket so she won't go anywhere. good luck to ya!!!

When we had rabbits, we would let them out and then corner them with something like large pillows or boards when they stopped to eat the carrots we put out. On the other hand, my step-daughter would walk right up to them, quietly, reach down and pick them up. They never ran from her.

run fast and get someone to help, or get a box and prop it up with a stick with a string tied around it, put a carrot under the box and hide, pull the string when the rabbit is under the box

You should try clicker training her. This website has a great video of a rabbit that was taught "Go Home".
