What's done is "done", huh? And it was even done on national T.V.! It appears that the act of the "head butt" was not a very professional thing to do. It seems that the Italian "got" away with whatever he said, too (except, of course, for the injury to his chest by Zidane)! Zidane is in the "news"! He has become famous, apologized, and retired all in one day! Okay - have I covered everything? The word "cooler" can't (or doesn't need) to be used to describe the unfortunate "act"!

Zidane is a legend of the game and no-one can deny that. So he bowed out of the world stage on a low, but you have to ask yourself how you would off reacted to such slanderous comments in the heat of the battle. I think Zidane did pretty well not to start an all in brawl. The Italiens are masters of the not so subtle stupidity, and in a way I guess it worked, Zidane sent-off and the wogs going on to win in a penalty shoot-out. So the win goes to MM but the honour and integrity stays with Zidane and the French.

Me!!!!!!I think he's the coolest. He stood up for his family and that shows great character. He said in his press conference that he is a man before anything else which is very admirable. He also apologised to everyone including kids which is also very honourable unlike a certain Italian who has admitting to insulting Zidane but has not apologised!

Me 2

I think he is even cooler after the whole incident, bcos I always think he is a man of thoughts before action.

So that is not a crazy head butt.. It is a 'thoughtful' headbutt :) the other guy really deserves it, no matter from which angle. And wat a waste! He is a world class player too!

The first time he did it, it may have been an unexpected accident. the second incident where he stomped on a player and got a two game suspension... even that one you could let slide... but the third time... he's just a delinquent and that tasteless move is going to cost him a lot of respect that he would have otherwise had as he ended his career.

I think he is cool because he stood up for honour..
Also for walking away at first. Then to start with, after Italian defence player was really holding him and stretching his dress, he tried to make a funny remark.. But nobody laughted..
Lastest I think he is cool because he was the engine of France team, and endured far enough.

It might not have been the right thing to do on the Field, but in the heat of the moment anything can happen, and i would've given MM more than a head butt, in my honest opinion!!!!!!!!!
