You do not know me or anyone else to make that assumption. Yes. I am as free as any one person can be. My government does not rule my life. I break the law on a regular basis. Gotta give the cops future job security too! LOL! And I do not fear authority figures in my country because somebody is always watching them too. They get away with criminal activity just as a lot of us Americans are allowed to get away with.
I AM NOT AFRAID OF YOU, MY GOVERNMENT OR YOURS, OR ANYONE ON THIS PLANET. I do as I please and pay the price if I offend. Know what I mean.
Try to use "I" statements in the future, because you come across as judgmental and scornful. I don't believe you are asking this question of all of us, but yourself. Hmmmm? No offense. You need to learn some communication skills so that your questions don't reflect personal feelings you are trying to put off on innocent strangers.
I do not feel that way about people. I believe that all sane people have a good side to them and I try to see that in everyone I meet and know. You should try to take the same approach because in the end you are going to end up miserable and alone. :)

It reads like you are telling people to take chances.
Just because people are risk adverse doesn'y mean that they are "uptight".
And, you are not going to inspire people to go out on a limb by calling them scared.
Motivation needs to give a person a reason to do something. You haven't.
I have driven roads less travelled and had to get out to clear the way. When i was done others took advantage of my efforts with out so much as a thank you.
I have been mired in traffic on the road more travelled by and noticed others sitting there just like me, never knowing how long it would take to get where they are going.
It doesn't matter which path you take in life. They will all take you somewhere you are not. What matters is that you are happy with what you are doing.
Talk to strangers if you want to.
Jaywalk if you dare.
Run with the bulls in Pamploma if that is your cup of tea.
But don't insult people for not sharing your beliefs or folowing your lead.
That is a road that leads to conflict and hardship you may not like the consequences of.
And remember, it is always easier to go with the flow than to swim up stream.

Are you aiming this question at people in Saudi Arabia or something, cause I know I have a lot of freedom. I think you are tripping on something, cause our establishment is just fine, and we have all the freedom we could ever want!

I don't want to feel the chastisement that comes when God supernaturally gives his children a "spanking" for one thing.
Hebrews 12:1 Therefore since we also are surrounded with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight and the sin which so easily besets us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, 2 looking to Jesus the Author and Finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and sat down at the right of the throne of God.
3 For consider Him who endured such contradiction of sinners against Himself, lest you be weary and faint in your minds. 4 You have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin. 5 And you have forgotten the exhortation which speaks to you as to sons, "My son, despise not the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when you are rebuked by Him; 6 for whom the Lord loves He chastens, and He scourges every son whom He receives."
7 If you endure chastening, God deals with you as with sons, for what son is he whom the father does not chasten? 8 But if you are without chastisement, of which all are partakers, then you are bastards and not sons.
9 Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh who corrected us, and we gave them reverence. Shall we not much rather be in subjection to the Father of spirits and live? 10 For truly they chastened us for a few days according to their own pleasure, but He for our profit, that we might be partakers of His holiness.
11 Now chastening for the present does not seem to be joyous, but grievous. Nevertheless afterward it yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness to those who are exercised by it.
For another thing, God doesn't just make arbitrary "rules". His commandments are for our good so that we may have long life and peace.
