No, in order to create wealth you have to make something of value. Services are bought with wealth that has already been created. I think people that believe in the service economy myth are in for a rude awakening. Money has to come from somewhere, without a basis of value its only paper or numbers in an account.

while, economies will eventually evolve toward services, it is only attainable by a small fraction. Imagine a pyramid, the peak would be services and the base would be agriculture and manufacturing.

Service economy creates dependents onto more productive society. We are slowely falling backwards...as the labor markets shrinks so does consumer markets. America will equal third world country (middleclass) unless we wake up and change our gredy-money philosophy.
