Well, from waterloo it is easier to get to Heathrow, bakerloo line to picadilly circus then picadilly line to heathrow, but as you never mentioned Heathrow the easiest has got to be Gatwick, get the 507 bendy bus from just outside waterloo station, york road exit to victoria station, walk upto the coach station and get national express coach to gatwick. Your other choice is waterloo to paddington and get the gatwick express

From Waterloo you can take a TRAIN to Clapham Junction and there transfer to other to Gatwick. The trip takes 45 min. It is theeasiest airport to reach from Waterloo.
