Format your hard drive and reinstall windows. This is not a big deal if you use windows XP. If you don't......well, new computers are reasonably priced these days.

there is a number of ways to get rid of it. one is to get a better Anti virus. NOD 32 works REALLY GOOD!!!!! Formatting and reinstalling is NOT the answer. Another way is to find out which exact filie is infected and go in manually and delete the file.

you should be ble to get rid of it with a combination of using avg antivirus free edition at grisoft.com. and spybot and download.com, they are both free, download them, install them and update them...turn off system restore, and then boot in safe mode and run them, they should clean it out
