This is a very difficult, and subjective quesiton.
I would advise you to understand that we are all people, and that people make mistakes, and that if this person is given a fair second chance, and doesn't fail again, that perhaps there has been a change, and that you can trust them. Time has a way of restoring trust, for all but the worst hurts.
Remember that forgiveness is divine.

He has to earn back your trust a little at a time starting with the littlest things first. Tell him if he doesn't stop you will have to leave. When he tells you something that is hard for him to tell you thank him for being honest.

Really depends on the lie and his intentions. If he was lying to protect you from something... Either way, try to get a good feel for why he did it. Talk it all out. Then make your decision. Either way, rebuilding trust will take time.

I think you should confront him regarding the lying. Find out why he feels it is better for him to lie to you, than tell you the honest truth. Seems like it would be more simple to tell the truth. If you are unhappy and trust is all gone,
you must decide what is best for you.

Pay attention to your heart. Listen to it. He is the one that should do the work of earning back your trust. Evidently he hasn't done that yet.

If you really think he's worth giving him another chance, then go ahead. But if he does it one more time, he just isn't right for you (or anyone else for that matter). You can't go through each day wondering if every word out of his mouth is a lie.

If you love him, discuss your feelings, and if he cares he will discuss your feelings of being hurt, disappointed and your lack of trust. It will take time, trust is earned. In time, he can build your trust again. Be cautious. Good luck.

its hard to start trusting someone that has betrayed you but if you want them in your life you have to start somewhere. but if i were you i would just leave them alone because you are always gonna have that little voice in the back of your mind telling you otherwise.

It just takes time, but is it in your best interest to start again?
