My favorite song for right now is:

Joe - Good Girls

Baby Girl, alright
I gotta find me a girl
Alright now
Sunshine, from the first time that we met
Helpless, you took my heart I must confess
Deep in your eyes, there seemed to be a look that said, Hello
Is it me you're searching for
Bridge:
Suddenly my sunshine turned to rain
I don't know if it'll ever come back again
That's what you are, sunshine and rain
Your eyes didn't say you had a man
That never belonged within your plans
And it hurt so bad, someone tell me
Chorus:
Why are all the good girls taken everytime
And why do I keep falling someone else's dime
Everytime I says hello, then they say goodbye
So why are all you good girls, taken everytime
Dancing, with you're body close to mine
Then you kissed my lips girl
Girl I thought it was a sign
I want you forever, but good intentions never win
I' ve got the feeling, tonight I'll be alone again
[Brigde]
[Chorus](2x)
I gotta believe, there's a roni for me , somewhere in this world
I'm not gonna stop, gonna search till I drop
Til' I find that girl
I gotta believe, there's a roni for me, somewhere in this world
I'm not gonna stop, gonna search till I drop
Til' I find that girl
[Chorus](2x)

It is my favorite because of the good girls I have looked over, I have messed over or have a man who dogs them but I know they are good women. I especially love the passionate bridge as it symbolizes the ongoing search to find a good girl that is not taken by someone unworthy. Also this song is not popular and wasn't on the radio but the lyrics and bridge represent something I can relate to. This is a man who is writing this!!

I love lots of songs, but one that always sticks with me is "Hallelujuh" written by Leonard Cohen, covered by Jeff Buckley...listen to Buckley's version if you get a chance, it's beautiful...I'm a girl, and here are the lyrics, cheers! : )

I've heard there was a secret chord
That David played, and it pleased the Lord
But you don't really care for music, do you?
It goes like this
The fourth, the fifth
The minor fall, the major lift
The baffled king composing Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah

Your faith was strong but you needed proof
You saw her bathing on the roof
Her beauty and the moonlight overthrew you
She tied you
To a kitchen chair
She broke your throne, and she cut your hair
And from your lips she drew the Hallelujah

Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah

Mabye I have been here before
I know this room, I've walked this floor
I used to live alone before I knew you
I've seen your flag on the marble arch
Love is not a victory march
It's a cold and it's a broken Hallelujah

Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah

There was a time
You let me know
What's real and going on below
But now you never show it to me, do you?
And remember when I moved in you?
The holy dark was moving to
And every breath we drew was Hallelujah

Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah

Maybe there's a god above
And all I ever learned from love
Was how to shoot at someone who outdrew you
And it's not a cry you can hear at night,
It's not somebody who's seen the light
It's cold and it's a broken Hallelujah

Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah

The Dance (written by Tony Arata)
Looking back on the memory of
The dance we shared 'neath the stars alone
For a moment all the world was right
How could I have known that you'd ever say goodbye

And now I'm glad I didn't know
The way it all would end the way it all would go
Our lives are better left to chance I could have missed the pain
But I'd of had to miss the dance

Holding you I held everything
For a moment wasn't I a king
But if I'd only known how the king would fall
Hey who's to say you know I might have chanced it all

And now I'm glad I didn't know
The way it all would end the way it all would go
Our lives are better left to chance I could have missed the pain
But I'd of had to miss the dance

Yes my life is better left to chance
I could have missed the pain but I'd of had to miss the dance
------
And for the person who said they like Gnarls Barkley because they are "Fresh"... lol, those guy totally just went back to the late 60's and early 70's and hacked that stuff. Seriously, if you kids are loving that... listen to some of your grandparents music cuz that's what they were listening to back then. Snooze! I hate that group and their album is total crap. Peace out.

I'm a guy, I'm fifteen, and I'm an amateur music expert and critic.

My favorite song would either be the classic rock anthem Won't Get Fooled Again by The Who, or the gorgeous mini-epic A Day in the Life by The Beatles.

Strawberry Wine by Deana Carter. I am female.
Takes me back to my youth and the fire and passion of young love.
"He was working through college on my grandpa's farm.
I was thirsting for knowledge and he had it all. (yeah)
I was caught somewhere between a woman and a child.
When one restless summer we found love growing wild.
On the banks of the river on a well beaten path.
It's funny how those memories they last.
Like strawberry wine and seventeen.
The hot July moon saw everything.
My first taste of love oh bittersweet.
The green on the vine.
Like strawberry wine.

I still remember when thirty was old.
My biggest fear was September when he had to go.
A few cards and letters and one long distance call.
We drifted away like the leaves in the fall.
But year after year I come back to this place.
Just to remember the taste.
Of strawberry wine and seventeen.
The hot July moon saw everything.
My first taste of love oh bittersweet.
The green on the vine.
Like strawberry wine.

The fields have grown over now.
Years since they've seen the plow.
There's nothing time hasn't touched.
Is it really him or the loss of my innocence.
I've been missing so much.... yeaaaaaa
.....Strawberry wine and seventeen.
The hot July moon saw everything.
My first taste of love oh bittersweet.
The green on the vine.
Like strawberry wine.

seventeen......
The hot July moon saw everything.
My first taste of love oh bittersweet.
The green on the vine.
Like strawberry wine...."

My favorite songs are many, but if I have to pick one, I'd pick... "The Right Kind of Wrong" by LeAnn Rimes.

The Right Kind of Wrong

Know all about, about your reputation
And how it's bound to be a heartbreak situation
But I can't help it if I'm helpless
Every time that I'm where you are
You walk in and my strength walks out the door
Say my name and I can't fight it anymore
Oh I know, I should go
But I need your touch just too damn much

Loving you isn't really something I should do
Shouldn't wanna spend my time with you
That I should try to be strong
But baby you're the right kind of wrong
Yeah baby you're the right kind of wrong

Might be a mistake
A mistake I'm making
But what you're giving I am happy to be taking
Cause no one's ever made me feel
The way I feel when I'm in your arms
They say you're something I should do without
They don't know what goes on
When the lights go out
There's no way to explain
All the pleasure is worth all the pain

Loving you isn't really something I should do
Shouldn't wanna spend my time with you
That I should try to be strong
But baby you're the right kind of wrong
Yeah baby you're the right kind of wrong

I should try to run
But I just can't seem to
'Cause every time I run you're the one I run to
Can't do without, what you do to me
I don't care if I'm in too deep
Know all about, about your reputation
And how its' bound to be a heartbreak situation
But I can't help it if I'm helpless
Every time that I'm where you are
You walk in and my strength walks out the door
Say my name and I can't fight it anymore
Oh I know, I should go
But I need your touch just too damn much

Loving you isn't really something I should do
Shouldn't wanna spend my time with you
That I should try to be strong
But baby you're the right kind of wrong
Yeah baby you're the right kind of wrong

Well, right now it's probably Boston by Augustana, but it changes a lot. It's just an amazing song, and I can relate to it.

in the light of the sun, is there anyone? oh it has begun...
oh dear you look so lost, eyes are red and tears are shed,
this world you must've crossed...you said...

you don't know me, you don't even care,
you don't know me, you don't wear my chains...

essential and appealed, carry all your thoughts across
an open field,
when flowers gaze at you...they're not the only ones who cry
when they see you
you said...

you don't know me, you don't even care,
you don't know me, you don't wear my chains...

she said I think I'll go to Boston...
I think I'll start a new life,
I think I'll start it over, where no one knows my name,
I'll get out of California, I'm tired of the weather,
I think I'll get a lover and fly em out to Spain...
I think I'll go to Boston,
I think that I'm just tired
I think I need a new tow, to leave this all behind...
I think I need a sunrise, I'm tired of the sunset,
I hear it's nice in the summer, some snow would be nice...
Boston...where no one knows my name...
